New Brunswick is one of the four Atlantic provinces of Canada, with extensive forests and farmland. This is a sparsely-populated Maritime province, and you may discover numerous employment opportunities in New Brunswick. The province has a population of nearly 780,000 people, out of which almost half of the population resides in rural areas and remaining lives in Greater Saint John, Fredericton, or Greater Moncton.

New Brunswick has many attractions, including the world’s largest whirlpool and longest covered bridge, and it also boasts a magnetic hill. This Canadian province has the warmest ocean water, making beach trips more fun. New Brunswick is bound by some popular states of the US, including Maine, New York, and Vermont; you can use your off-time to explore these US states across the border.

Are you willing to work and live in this beautiful province? It is best to start by exploring the in-demand jobs in the province. If you obtain an in-demand job offer, you will have higher chances of receiving an invitation to apply for permanent residency in the province. However, before discussing the in-demand jobs, we suggest you learn more about the framework of the NBPNP so that you can determine your eligibility.

The Framework of New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP)

You must submit an application to the New Brunswick office of immigration. The process begins with the creation of a profile on the Expression of Interest System of New Brunswick. Also, there are various streams through which you can apply for immigration to the province, including the Express Entry system, Entrepreneur Stream, the Skilled Worker Stream, and Atlantic Immigration Pilot.

All these programs are aimed to welcome skilled foreign workers to the Atlantic communities to boost the economy. Moreover, the province offers numerous employment opportunities in diverse fields, covering carpenters, food and beverage servers to engineers, even there are job prospects for individuals who love adventure.

Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)

In order to meet eligibility for the AIPP, you must first obtain a valid full-time job offer from an employer in New Brunswick. Also, there are various professions that will be repetitive among the AIPP, the Express Entry program, and the Skilled Worker Stream. However, applying through AIPP has a major advantage: it includes semi-skilled positions as well, which means that the candidates with NOC skill level C and relevant categories may be eligible for obtaining permanent resident status.
