Yukon is the smallest and second least-populous Canadian territory, located in the northwest part of the country. Yukon is well-known among tourists for its wild and mountainous geography including, Mount Logan, glaciers, trails, and the Alsek River. The economy of the territory is primarily based on mining, followed by tourism activities as well.
Whitehorse, the capital city of the territory, is the largest settlement among all three territories. Individuals who seek to settle in a place with closely-tied communities and extensive wilds should consider Yukon.
Through the Yukon Nominee Program (YNP), the territory invites newcomers to apply for permanent residency in Canada The YNP enables the territory to target potential immigrants with relevant skills and experience.
