A total of 160 candidates have been granted the invitation of provincial nomination from the province of British Columbia.
Out of the total invited candidates, 126 of them either belonged to the category of International Students or foreign skilled workers. According to the eligibility criteria of BC PNP, eligible candidates need to have the least score of 85 points.

Two draws were specifically conducted for professionals working in the healthcare industry through which a total of 20 eligible candidates were granted invitations.
Less than 5 paramedic staff were also invited by the province of British Columbia which required candidates with a minimum score of 62 points.

The province is conducting draws for targeted professions apart from general draws. This initiative is taken by the government of British Columbia to encourage its different economic sectors through immigrants from all around the world.
The province of British Columbia had released less than 5 invitations for immigrants applying under the category of Entrepreneur Immigration.
The category was closed for releasing applications. Although the province of British Columbia has been analyzing the program and schedules to reopen draws for the respective category from the early days of July.
Canadian province, British Columbia has issued a total of 3,200 provincial nominations to eligible candidates now.
BC PNP
The provincial immigration pathway specializes in finding and inviting foreign skilled workers whose aim is to move to Canada.
The BC PNP program is segregated into two different streams, that are Skills Immigration and Express Entry.
All the work related to these streams are under the control of SIRS.
If an applicant aims to apply through SIRS, he/she has to initiate by setting up an account followed by remarked by scores.
The candidates matched with the surpassing scores are welcomed by the provincial government of British Columbia by granting a provincial nomination.
Candidates who succeed in getting an invitation to provincial nomination have a time period of a month to complete all the application-related credentials through the online portal of BC PNP.
A qualifying applicant will be addressed within 2 – 3 months, after this, an applicant can proceed by applying for Canadian permanent residency through the online portal of IRCC.
The invitation for provincial nomination comes with a validity time period of 6 months.
The qualifying candidates get their total score increased by 600 points which are rewarded by the IRCC. An increment of 600 points comes along with the maximum chances of getting the status of Canadian permanent residency with the help of an ITA.
