  • Language proficiency of CLB 4 or above
  • Personal investment of at least $200,000

    • A combination of 1 year as a business owner-manager + 2 years as a senior business manager

Candidates must also commit to creating at least one full-time job for a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in British Columbia.

The BC PNP also offers a Regional Entrepreneur stream with reduced net worth requirements. This option requires visiting a participating community and securing a letter of support.

Significant reforms have been introduced to the BC PNP in 2025, including the closure of several immigration pathways, temporary pauses on specific draws, and limited intake of new applications.

Throughout the year, British Columbia will focus its immigration efforts on front-line healthcare workers, highly impactful entrepreneurs, and skilled professionals.
