CEC CRS Score Hits A New High In The Latest Express Entry Draw

CEC CRS score hits a new high in the latest Express Entry draw, i.e., Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued more invitations to apply (ITAs) through the Express Entry system. In the latest draw, the cut-off score for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates reached a new high for 2026.

In this draw, IRCC invited 2,000 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class.

To be considered in this draw, candidates needed to have:

  • A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 515; and
  • Created an Express Entry candidate profile before 2:46 a.m., Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on June 10, 2025.

This draw is the seventh CEC draw held in 2026. It is also the twenty-second Express Entry draw of the year. Moreover, it is the smallest CEC draw so far this year, following the March 31 draw, which invited 2,250 candidates.

In addition, the CRS cut-off score is increased by six points as compared to the previous CEC draw. This is the largest increase seen between draws this year.

In 2026, IRCC has and will continue to focus on candidates who are already in Canada. This mainly includes those with Canadian work experience and those with provincial nominations.

Most invitations this year have been issued under the Canadian Experience Class. French-language proficiency draws have also seen a large number of invitations.
