Canada holds second Express Entry draw for senior managers, i.e., Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has invited more candidates through the Express Entry system.
In the latest round of invitations, the department issued 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to senior managers with Canadian work experience.
To receive an invitation in this draw, candidates needed to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 392; and
- An Express Entry profile created before 1:46 a.m. (UTC) on March 15, 2026.

As of this update, IRCC has held 38 Express Entry draws in 2026.
The July 10 draw was the second round for senior managers with Canadian work experience. It also had a much lower CRS requirement than the first draw held on March 5. The minimum score dropped from 429 to 392, making the latest cut-off 37 points lower.
Moreover, the lower CRS score may have allowed more eligible senior managers to receive invitations in this round.

Most Express Entry draws this year have focused on candidates who already have strong ties to Canada. This includes people with Canadian work experience and those who received a provincial nomination.

So far in 2026, IRCC has issued 92,101 Invitations to Apply through different Express Entry categories.
The Canadian Experience Class continues to receive the largest number of invitations, followed by French-language proficiency draws. Category-based selections for healthcare workers, trades professionals, physicians, and senior managers have also remained part of the Express Entry system this year.
