  • Previously acquired education in the province that sent the nomination

British Columbia and Manitoba shared their PNP outcomes between May 3 and 10

Different Provincial Nominee Programs have separate strategies for providing scores to candidates for immigration goals. In addition, one must not draw comparisons between cut-off scores for immigration draws in one PNP and PNP in other provinces. A few provinces use terms like “Notifications of Interest” to denote ITAs, while others might use the term “The Letters of Advice.” These terms eventually indicate the same term “invitations to apply.”

British Columbia

British Columbia issued a minimum of 77 invitations through the following streams:

  • The Skilled Worker
  • International Graduate – Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC option)
  • British Columbia PNP

Candidates displaying eligible professional experience in in-demand industries and positions. These occupations and positions must be those that the British Columbia PNP targets, such as healthcare, construction, tech, childcare, and veterinary care. However, the lowest CRS scores in each draw were different. The following were the cut-offs:

  • Childcare occupation draw – the cut-off score was 90.
  • Construction occupation draw – the cut-off score was 93.
  • Healthcare draw – the cut-off score was 100.
  • Tech draw’s cut-off score was 120.
  • The Veterinary draw’s cut-off score was 80.

The International Graduate stream, including the EEBC option, emphasizes candidates who graduated from a qualifying university or college in Canada in the previous three years. In addition, the candidates must attain an employment offer through an employer in British Columbia to be eligible for this stream.

The EEBC option alongside indicates an Enhanced PNP stream, aligning with the Express Entry system. Furthermore, this implies that the British Columbia PNP can issue ITAs to candidates in the pool using this stream to move and settle in B.C.
