British Columbia and PEI sent invitations in recent the Provincial Nominee Program draw. The federal and provincial governments align with each other to work for immigration. Both forms of government believe that PNP is the best method for selecting candidates who fulfill the criteria. These new immigrants shall be able to economically contribute to Canada.
These PNPs enable the selection of candidates under the economic immigration class. This means that the provinces get the chance to select candidates who will integrate conveniently into the Canadian economy. This will positively impact the provincial economy.
When a candidate acquires a Provincial Nomination, the chances of receiving an invitation to apply through IRCC also increase for the Express Entry candidates.
Additionally, the Express Entry candidates within the PNP will, by default, receive additional points up to 600 under the Comprehensive Ranking System.
Moreover, candidates getting top-level scores will receive an invitation to apply for Canada PR during the subsequent Express Entry draws.
Interestingly, PNPs possess the largest permanent residence target per the latest Immigration Levels Plan for 2023-2025. This year, more than 105,000 candidates under the PNP are likely to arrive in Canada per this plan. The figure is likely to enhance to 117,000 annually by the latter half of 2025.

Prince Edward Island issued 113 invitations to eligible candidates on March 30 under the Express Entry and PEI PNP labor stream. PEI conducted the third draw in March, which is indeed surprising because it usually conducts draws once a month.
