Canada created a new PR pathway for Sudanese citizens amidst the existing conflict in Sudan. IRCC recently declared a new immigration pathway for family members affected by this conflict. The immigration department recently stated that as of February 27 this year, it would welcome at least 3,250 applications from families or primary applicants. This PR pathway is a fresh sponsorship pathway for families that will enable applicants to acquire Canadian permanent residence. According to IRCC, it will remove the fee for PR and offer free settlement services to those who acquire PR through this pathway.
