Three provinces in Canada declared the latest PNP draw results of three Canadian provinces and Quebec conducted a recent draw through Arrima. Canadian provinces and territories usually function through PNPs. However, provinces Nunavut and Quebec remain exceptions to this. Provincial nomination and permanent residence differ significantly from one another. But provincial nomination can certainly lead to acquiring permanent residency status. It helps in getting a higher CRS score. PNP candidates who have already created Express Entry profiles have a greater chance of receiving a nomination. They also receive 600 additional points and gain eligibility to apply for invitation rounds specific to PNP.
August 19-25 result
British Columbia
British Columbia tends to conduct draws for provincial nomination each week. Under the BC PNP draw conducted on August 23, 210 candidates received an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination. 205 candidates got an invitation under the regional-based draw comprising tech occupations. The candidates who belonged to the Skilled Workers and Internal Graduates categories received invitations. The draw also consisted of Express Entry candidates.

- Early Childhood Educators and Assistants- a minimum score of 60.
- Five Healthcare Workers have a minimum score level of 60.
- Healthcare Assistants have a minimum score level of 60.
Saskatchewan

One draw conducted on August 18 had about 668 candidates receiving invitations with a minimum score of 67, while 629 candidates received invitations on August 25 with a minimum score of 65 points. The candidates who received invitations belonged to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program categories of Express Entry and the In-demand occupations.
The province usually holds draws almost every week. Saskatchewan conducted four PNP draws with over 200 candidates receiving invitations each time. However, till July the area conducted draws every two months.
Prince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island PNP sent around 121 invitations to candidates for immigration on August 18. The maximum invitations were sent to 117 candidates under Express Entry and Labor Impact. Business Impact candidates received four invitations only with a minimum provincial score of 97.
Prince Edward Island holds monthly draws and reveals an advanced schedule for the entire year.
Quebec
Quebec has more authority over its immigration system compared to any other province. Therefore, this province doesn’t involve itself in the PNP.
Candidates seeking Quebec immigration will have to apply at the Arima portal, the pool for provincial expression of interest. The officers select candidates who qualify for the eligibility criteria of any immigration pathway. They sent invitations to the selected candidates. Candidates receiving the invitations further apply for a Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ) or a provincial nomination.
MIFI sent invitations to 58 candidates to apply under the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program to be selected permanently. It is compulsory for applicants to have a profile created under Arrima’s Expression of Interest system. They must obtain scores under the same, with a valid employment offer outside Montreal.
Express Entry and PNP Draws
Candidates get ranks under Express Entry’s evaluation system. Express Entry systematically manages immigration applications online. The Federal Skilled Worker Program along with FSTP and CEC are three programs for which the candidates are assessed. When the candidates enter the pool of these programs, they are provided ranks under the Comprehensive Ranking System. The factors CRS evaluates the candidates include language skills, work experience, education, and other factors related to Human Capital.
Additionally, if a candidate receives a provincial nomination, they get 600 extra points for their CRS score. These additional points further enhance their chances of receiving an ITA for permanent residency status.
