Five Canadian provinces invited skilled workers for PR in the latest PNP draw. These provinces include British Columbia, PEI, Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec. Each level of government has a shared responsibility for immigration. The Provincial Nominee Program enables provincial governments to choose economic immigration candidates who are most likely to succeed in establishing themselves economically in the province making the nomination.
This can be the case because the applicant has professional experience in a field that is in high demand in the province. The majority of PNPs have streams that specifically target job prospects in fields like healthcare, agriculture, and technology. All of these have a labor shortage.
Recently, IRCC changed its strategy on a federal level and started hosting category-based selection drawings for Express Entry applicants. For instance, IRCC invited the first 500 Express Entry candidates on June 28 based on their employment in the healthcare industry.
On July 5, 1,500 additional people are anticipated to be invited, and that same week, a draw will be held for people interested in careers in STEM fields.
Quebec does not have a PNP since the province and the federal government have a separate arrangement enabling the region to choose all its economic immigrants. Quebec recently suggested alterations to its provincial immigration standards. Additionally, upon arrival, the area will primarily demand that all newcomers have excellent French language skills.
Five Canadian provinces invited skilled workers for PR – Quebec immigration outcomes between June 23 and 29
1,006 skilled professionals were asked to submit applications for permanent selection in Quebec on June 22. The Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration asked them to do so. Candidates needed a score of at least 626.
According to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français des personnes immigrantes adultes, the Quebec scale of French proficiency levels for adult immigrants, or its equivalent, the invited candidates had oral French proficiency at level 7 (or higher).
Moreover, candidates might also have received an invitation if they obtained a job offer from an employer beyond the boundaries of the Montréal Metropolitan Community.

The biggest draw included all occupations, including those in technology. 130 applicants from the entry-level and semi-skilled streams, international graduates, and skilled workers received ITAs. For entry-level and semi-skilled candidates, the minimum SIRS score was 87. At the same time, it ranged from 109 for international graduates to 106 for skilled workers.
The latter three draws targeted international graduates and skilled workers, including Express Entry applicants. 20 healthcare professionals received invitations. 30 candidates for early childhood educators and assistants, and less than five candidates for other priority occupations.

On June 29, Prince Edward Island invited 90 applicants to submit applications for its Express Entry and Labor categories.
