  • You must have a job invitation for a specific skilled trade in NOC. 
  • You have a certificate from the provincial, territorial or federal authority of Canada that you are qualified in a specific skilled trade. 

The Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

The CEC is a program that can offer you a chance to get permanent residency status in Canada if you already have worked in Canada by obtaining a temporary work permit for at least one year. 

Requirements for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC):

  • You are required to complete a language efficiency test in every section. 
  • You must have work experience of a minimum of 1 year in a skilled occupation whether full time or part-time in the last 3 years while applying for permanent residency status. work experience in Canada

Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)

If you are not selected in a draw in one year, then you have to create a new Express Entry profile.

  • You should try by increasing your work experience in a specific skill. 
  • You can apply through Provincial Nominee Programs.

How much does Express Entry cost?

You have to pay a fee at the very start when you submit your profile online and after receiving ITA to apply for Canadian permanent residency, you need to pay a fee also. You need to pay Express Entry fees in Canadian dollars which are as follows;

  1. You need to pay an application processing fee of $550. 
  2. you have to pay a fee of $490 for permanent residency rights. 
  3. If your application is without permanent residency right then you have to pay $550. 
  4. If you are submitting your application with your spouse or partner then you have to pay $550. 
  5. You have to have permanent residence fees of $490. 
  6. You have to pay fees for dependent children of $150 per child. 
  7. You have to pay Biometrics fees of $85/ person.
