On the 10th day of this month, the ministry of Quebec invited 523 skilled workers for the application of Canadian PR.
The Ministère de I’Immigration and de la Francisation et de I’Intégration (MIFI) had invited applicants who are trying to move to Canada by applying under the category of Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP)
The candidates need to set up their profile in the Arima Expression of Interest system with a minimum score of 592 points. The list of occupations that a candidate can select is given below:

- Desktop Engineers
- Consultants and analysts related to Information systems
- Data regulators and analysts
- Designers and Software engineers
- Media creators and programmers
- People who can web design and developers
- Electrical engineers and technicians
- Technicians who know the skills of Computer network
- Customer support technician
- Testing technicians and information systems
- Registered paramedics and psychiatric paramedics
- Licensed practical paramedics
- Paramedics, patient attendants, patient service workers
- Teachers for secondary classes
- Teachers for elementary classes
- Teachers for kindergarten
- Pre childhood assistants and teachers
- Media professionals like producers, directors, choreographers
- Graphic arts technicians
- Graphic illustrators and designers
- Wholesale traders with technical sales specialization
Quebec has released applications for inviting immigrants for the third time this year. In 2021, a sum of 3,564 applicants was invited whereas this year, a total of 1,375 invitations were issued to apply for Permanent Residency by the province of Quebec.
What is QRSP about?
International students and skilled workers who aim to move to Canada, particularly to Quebec can apply for Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program. The common reason mostly seen among international students and workers immigrating through this program is financial support.
All the candidates are evaluated on various factors like education qualification, language proficiency, age, and the level of their professional degree that could be beneficial for the province of Quebec and various other factors.
The candidates who further receive the invitation for permanent selection will get a time limit of 2 months for submission and fees procedure. The province of Quebec tries to wind up the application procedure within 180 days of receiving the application.

Quebec had released its immigration details for 2022 in October 2021. A majority of immigrants are expected to enter the province through programs like QSWP and Quebec experience programs.
This year, the province of Quebec targets to invite 49,500- 52,500 immigrants across the globe from all the immigration categories. An addition of 18,000 admission spots is made to complete the unmatched target of 2020 because of the pandemic. As a result, a total of 70,000 immigrants will be welcomed in Quebec in 2022.
