The numerous groups that will be given the opportunity to contribute input and ideas through this endeavor include “all levels of government, businesses, academia, post-secondary institutions, settlement organizations, implicated sectors in Canada, and our clients.” This initiative will capture “a diversity of perspectives.”
According to the press release, this initiative by the Canadian government will primarily consist of additional face-to-face discourse sessions like the one in Halifax. It will also include “thematic workshops” and a public poll for clients.
According to the IRCC, “the feedback obtained [through this effort] will guide Canada’s future immigration policies and programs. Moreover, it will help design a system that will benefit communities across the country in the future.

The Canadian population is significantly contributing toward reviving the aging population of Canada. This is also because two-thirds of the population between 2016 and 2021 belong to the prime working age group between 25 and 54 years.
