Latest PNP weekly results published for three Canadian provinces

The latest PNP weekly results published for three Canadian provinces include nominations issued to candidates. The provinces are British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba.

An application for permanent residence gets a boost by provincial nomination. This is due to the fact that a province would only submit economic immigration applicants they believe have the potential to establish themselves financially within the province. They will be able to do so by filling labor shortages in Canada.

These candidates are also thought to be more likely to stay in the province making the nomination. Also, they frequently reside there, have a job offer, or have relatives who live nearby.
Candidates for Express Entry who receive nominations also benefit from an extra 600 points on the CRS. In the future Express Entry round of invitations to apply for permanent residency, they are therefore almost certain to obtain an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
