British Columbia – The immigration results between April 6 and 12

The British Columbia PNP sent a minimum of 88 invitations to candidates applying for Canadian permanent residence through the Skilled Worker and International Graduate stream with the EEBC option. This stream is responsible for recent international graduates who have graduated from a university or college within that province in the last three years. They also hold an employment offer from an employer in British Columbia.

Candidates who had professional experience in specific in-demand occupations in the province received invitations. The following in-demand professions are as follows:

  • Childcare Professionals – The minimum score requirement of 90 points to get an invitation.
  • Construction Professionals – They had to possess a minimum CRS score of 95 points to get an ITA.
  • Healthcare Professionals – The minimum score requirement of 95 points to get an invitation.
  • Tech Professionals – The minimum score requirement of 116 to receive an invitation.
  • Veterinary Professionals – Candidates had to fulfill the score requirement of 80 points to be considered.

Incorporating the EEBC option implies an Enhanced Provincial Nomination Stream. These Enhanced streams work in sync with the Express Entry system, implying that candidates within the Express Entry pool might attain an ITA to apply for PR in a province using the above streams.
