Manitoba Issues ITAs To Skilled Workers In Recent PNP Program

Manitoba issues ITAs to skilled workers in recent PNP program. British Columbia will accept applications to the International Post-Graduate stream until 9 am, January 7, 2025.

Here are more details on it.

Manitoba

The Prairie province held its 235th draw on December 27, 2024.

It issued 239 Letters of Advice to Apply after considering all eligible skilled worker profiles in Manitoba. The lowest-ranked candidate invited had a score of 857.

The province also issued invitations under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba’s Occupation-specific selection. There were 18 LOAs issued.

The National Occupational Classification 2021 unit groups considered in this draw were as follows:

  • 31101 – Specialists in surgery
  • 31102 – General practitioners and family physicians
  • 31301 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
  • 31302 – Nurse practitioners
  • 73301 – Bus drivers, subway operators and other transit operators

Finally, 19 LOAs were issued to those in the NOC unit group 60030 – Restaurant and Food Service Managers. The cut-off for this group was 632.

In total, 276 LOAswere issued in this draw.

The province has highlighted that if someone’s score is higher than the lowest ranked candidate, but they have not obtained an LOA, this could be because:

  • They have indicated that they’ve taken an approved third-party language test to demonstrate language ability in English or French but have not provided a valid test number in their EOI
  • Their language test is no longer valid
  • They have indicated that they’ve received an Invitation to Apply to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program under a strategic recruitment initiative but have not provided a valid invitation number.
