New Brunswick has invited 750 immigration candidates through several provincial selection rounds held between July 16 & July 22, 2026. The invitations were issued under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) and three immigration streams managed by the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP).
The latest invitation rounds targeted workers in several priority occupations, with healthcare professionals receiving ITAs in every draw. Other selected occupations included construction, manufacturing, education, transportation, professional and IT roles, sales and services, and other skilled trades.
Candidates invited through the NBPNP can apply for a provincial nomination, which can support an application for Canadian permanent residence. Those selected through the Atlantic Immigration Program can apply for a certificate of endorsement before submitting a permanent residence application to the federal government.

Healthcare occupations appeared in every selection round, while the remaining targeted occupations differed depending on the immigration stream.
Skilled Worker Stream
New Brunswick held two invitation rounds under the Skilled Worker Stream between July 16 and July 18. A total of 267 invitations were issued through the stream’s three available pathways.

Each draw had a different profile submission deadline:
- July 16 – July 18 draw: no later than 11:59 p.m. AST on July 15, 2026.
- July 18 draw: no later than 11:59 p.m. AST on July 17, 2026.
The New Brunswick Experience pathway is designed for foreign nationals who are already living and working in New Brunswick. Eligible candidates must have worked full-time for an approved employer in the province for at least six months.
The New Brunswick Priorities pathway focuses on candidates who received a full-time job offer from an eligible employer through a provincial recruitment event. Applicants must also have at least one year of work experience in a priority occupation.
The New Brunswick Graduates pathway is open to international graduates who completed an eligible post-secondary program in New Brunswick. Candidates must either be working full-time for an eligible employer in the province or have accepted a qualifying full-time job offer.
Strategic Initiative Stream
The province also conducted only one invitation round under the Strategic Initiative Stream on July 16. A total of 254 invitations were issued through two pathways that support French-speaking candidates.

The deadline for candidates to qualify for this draw was 11:59 p.m. AST on July 15, 2026.
The Francophone Workers in New Brunswick pathway is for French-speaking foreign nationals who are working full-time for an eligible employer in the province or have accepted a qualifying job offer. Candidates must also have lived in New Brunswick for at least six months or received their job offer through a provincial recruitment mission.
The New Brunswick Francophone Priorities pathway targets French-speaking candidates who have a strong connection to the province. This includes graduates of eligible New Brunswick post-secondary institutions & individuals who have received an invitation directly from Immigration New Brunswick.
Express Entry Stream
New Brunswick also invited candidates through the Express Entry Stream on July 16. This round issued the smallest number of invitations among the NBPNP draws held during this period.

The Employment in New Brunswick pathway is available to Express Entry candidates who have lived in the province for at least one year and have worked full-time for a New Brunswick employer during that time in a TEER 0 to TEER 3 occupation.
Atlantic Immigration Program
On July 22, New Brunswick conducted another invitation round through the Atlantic Immigration Program. A total of 114 invitations were issued, thus making it the province’s third-largest AIP-specific draw of 2026.

Candidates needed to meet the eligibility requirements by 11:59 p.m. AST on July 21, 2026.
The Atlantic Immigration Program is an employer-led pathway that helps skilled foreign workers and international graduates become permanent residents. The program operates in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
Applicants must receive a qualifying job offer from a designated employer in one of the participating Atlantic provinces. Before applying for permanent residence, the job offer must also receive provincial endorsement.
In addition to the job offer requirement, candidates must satisfy the program’s rules for language ability, education, work experience, and settlement funds where applicable.
The latest selection rounds show that New Brunswick continues to focus on attracting workers in sectors facing labour shortages. Healthcare remained a priority across every draw, while construction, manufacturing, transportation, education, and professional occupations also received strong attention.
