British Columbia
British Columbia issued 169 invitations to eligible candidates under its PNP draw conducted every week. Of the candidates, 145 received ITAs during a tech-targeted draw. Furthermore, this implies that candidates were required to possess a valid employment offer for a particular occupation under the NOC codes. British Columbia prioritized these occupations. Additionally, candidates under the tech draw were a part of the Skilled Worker and International Graduates Stream.
Even the Express Entry candidates had eligibility for the same. The minimum SIRS score requirement was 83.
British Columbia held invitation rounds for candidates under the following professions:
- Eighteen Early Childhood Educators and Assistants with a minimum score of 60 points.
- Six Healthcare Workers under streams- International Graduates, Skilled Workers, and Express Entry. The minimum score is 60 points.
Alberta
On February 16, Alberta held an Express Entry draw, and the results were just recently made public. In total, 100 individuals participated in the draw, with the lowest CRS score of 357. IRCC provided Alberta with 9,750 nomination certificates for 2023. Each province can issue a certain maximum amount of provincial nominations. Moreover, big provinces like Ontario or Alberta often give the highest allocations.
PNP candidates received invitations from Prince Edward Island
On March 2, the Labour and Express Entry streams of the PEI PNP issued invitations to 46 candidates. As of now, PEI has received expressions of interest from 484 candidates for 2023.
