Canadian provinces Quebec, BC, Ontario, and Manitoba released the results of the PNP draw held from March 21-25.
The province of Quebec last week released the results of its draw while British Columbia, Ontario, and Manitoba held their PNP draws.
There are various ways of immigration to Canada but the PNP draw offers immigrants to track their program.
Quebec’s immigration system does not reside under the PNP.
A valid profile has to be submitted to the expression of interest by the immigrant candidates if they are willing to enter Canada through PNP. Candidates matching the eligibility criteria are then further sent for evaluation by provincial officers.
The province of Quebec has established Arrima as the name for the expression of interest. It is done through a separate EOI system which the Express Entry system undertakes.
Immigrants with qualifying marks get the opportunity to apply for Canadian PR. Applying through PNP rewards the candidates with an extra score of 600 CRS points. This helps in upgrading the total score and thus giving the candidate the opportunity for Canadian PR.
Below are the results mentioned of the latest held PNP draw and information regarding the Arrima draw of Quebec.
Ontario
A total of 471 immigrants have been called who were clearing the eligibility criteria of Ontario Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream. The eligibility criteria demand immigrants with an Express Entry profile and the least count of 350 points.
The Express Entry offers the connectivity for Canadian PR for CEC and FSWP categorized candidates.
For matching the eligibility criteria, he/she needs to have a track record of 1-year experience. The occupation should be listed in either Major Group 72,73,82 Minor Group 633.

The PNP program or Manitoba had invited 191 candidates through 3 different streams
- Skilled Workers Overseas– A total of 64 candidates having at least a score of 712 have been invited.
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba– A total of 102 workers have been invited who have scored at least 769.
- International Education Stream– This category does not demand any minimum score for 25 immigrants.
Among the above immigrants, 43 of them had their profiles set up in the Express Entry system.
Immigrants aiming to get a provincial nomination from the province of Manitoba had to register themselves with the MPNP. LAA is given to these eligible immigrants.
The province then remarks on the candidates based on various factors and scores them accordingly out of 1,000. Candidates passing the criteria are given a provincial nomination.
British Columbia
Around 200 immigrants have been invited through BC PNP which is conducted every week.
