Prince Edward Island Invites Graduates In The Latest PNP Draw

Prince Edward Island invites graduates in the latest PNP draw, i.e., on February 19, 2026, Prince Edward Island held its latest draw under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). The selection followed the province’s expected Invitation to Apply (ITA) schedule for the year.

As seen in earlier draws in 2026, the province continued to focus on candidates who have strong ties to Prince Edward Island and whose work matches occupations and sectors that support the local economy. In this round, additional attention was given to international graduates from selected designated learning institutions (DLIs).

Draw Results

In the latest round, Prince Edward Island issued 109 invitations to provincial nominee candidates. These invitations were sent through the Labour Impact and Express Entry pathways.

The province explained that invitations were mainly given to individuals working in occupations and priority sectors that bring strong economic value to PEI. According to the PEI Office of Immigration, key sectors currently facing labour shortages include healthcare, skilled trades, manufacturing, and other important industries.

International graduates from the following DLIs received additional priority in this draw:

  • University of Prince Edward Island
  • Holland College
  • Collège de l’Île

At the same time, the province noted that candidates working in the sales and service sector may not receive invitations at this stage.

When Will Prince Edward Island’s Next Draws Occur?

If the province continues to follow its planned schedule, the next selection rounds are expected on March 19 and April 16, 2026.

However, PEI has clarified that these dates are only for general guidance. They do not guarantee that draws will occur exactly on these dates or that processing timelines will remain fixed.

Using PEI’s Workforce Program Selector Tool To Choose The Right Stream

Newcomers interested in provincial immigration options in Prince Edward Island can begin by using PEI’s Workforce Program Selector Tool.

This tool works in a simple survey format. It helps guide candidates toward PEI workforce pathways that may match their profile based on current program rules. To provide suggestions, the tool asks questions related to factors such as:

  • Age
  • Education
  • Work Experience
  • Current job offers (if applicable)

According to the province, the tool is only meant to provide general guidance. It offers a quick way for candidates to understand which immigration stream may suit them best.

PEI recommends a practical two-step approach for newcomers:

  • Complete the selector to see which Workforce pathways match your profile; then
  • Review the official requirements in PEI’s Workforce Application Guide for full instructions and program criteria before submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) or application.
