The majority of Canadian provinces can release the applications of their PNP whereas the provinces of Nunavut and Quebec do not hold the power to execute their own PNP draws.

The provincial nomination is itself not an invitation for Canadian permanent residency, instead, it is a medium that can raise the probability to get permanent resident status.

For example- A sum of 600 scores is transferred to Express Entry profiles that have received nominations from any Canadian province.

Every year, the country welcomes more than eighty thousand Immigrants through the Provincial Nominee Program. The Program came into enforcement back in 1998, inviting a total of 400 immigrants under this category.

This program holds great prominence in the whole institution of Canadian immigration because it helps in inviting immigrants who are great contributors to the Canadian economy.

The province of Quebec has more authority over the immigration system of Canada in comparison to any other province. This is the primary reason why this province does not participate in releasing the applications for PNP.

Immigration applicants who are willing to move to Canada via the medium of Canadian provincial immigration need to start this process by initiating the submission of a valid profile of EOI.

After the above step, qualifying candidates are then invited by the province’s officials.

After a candidate is invited, he/she needs to get a Certificat de sélection du Québec in the province of Quebec.

Below are the results of the PNP draws and the Arima draws which were held in the last week in the provinces of BC, PEI, and Quebec respectively.
