The Canadian province will soon welcome 924 immigrants through PNP

924 immigrants will enter the country through Express Entry draws.

The IRCC has invited PNP candidates scoring a minimum CRS of 754. The score has been set high because of free additional points of 600 rewarded to aspirants applying through PNP. After the deduction of 600 additional points, the base points will be only 154.

The candidates receiving the invitation for nomination can fill in within the next 2 months.

The former invitation round held by IRCC had slots only for around one thousand aspirants of Canadian immigration.

Update about CEC and FSWP

The Canadian Governance hasn’t resumed the applications for FSWP and CEC candidates from the end of last year.

The representative of the Ministry of Immigration, Sean Fraser, had not promised any specific dates for resuming these programs in the upcoming months.

Earlier the immigrants not possessing provincial nominations were afraid of leaving their works and even the province.

Ideally, candidates who applied for Canadian PR through Express Entry gain the eligibility for Bridging Open Work Permit that facilitates them to reside in the country while their application undergoes processing.

Immigrants applied from external to Canada may be hindered by expiring results of the language test which implies taking another test for maintaining the eligibility requirements.

Basics about Express Entry

The Express Entry system acts as a medium for the Canadian Government to operate all the activities related to its immigration through virtual mode. CEC, FSWP, FSTP are the 3 programs that the Express Entry system undertakes.

The Comprehensive Ranking System is a marking tool of Express Entry that gives the specified ranks to the immigration candidates. The candidates shown at the top of the lists are handed an Invitation to Apply for applying Canadian PR.

The moment an application is filed, the IRCC sends its personnel to evaluate the application, verify the biometrics of the applicant, conduct interview rounds and necessary documentation.

Candidates provided with a favorable response from IRCC can proceed with their preparations to land in Canada as permanent residents. Immigrants coming from abroad are provided with pre-arrival assistance.
