The Census 2021 data claims that nearly 8.3 million newcomers are present in Canada. This further contributes to a quarter of the overall population.
According to Statistics Canada, the newcomer population is only likely to rise to 34 percent by the end of 2041.
IRCC claims that the more new immigrants feel the warmth in this country, the more their chances of merging into the Canadian culture and economy. It only depends on how welcomed they feel.

IRCC began a campaign called “Immigration Matters,” and Welcoming Week is an initiative of this campaign only.
