Yukon Community Pilot program – Its eligibility
Yukon Community pilot program participants must meet certain requirements. Applicants for the Yukon Community Pilot Program must meet the following requirements:
- Employers from up to three Yukon communities should offer you 2 to 3 job offers.

- After receiving a valid job offer, you may be nominated by the Government of Yukon.
- A full-time job should be equal to 30 hours of work per week for all job offers.

Required documents
In order to participate in the Yukon Community Pilot Program, you will need the following paperwork:
- To apply for permanent residency in Yukon, an official nomination letter must be obtained from the Yukon government.
- The Yukon government’s written support is also required. So, your potential employers prefer that you work in the area. Moreover, the letter should include information about the employer’s employment offers, including the name of the employer, the number of hours of the position, and the location.
Ways to submit an application for the YCP program
- It is first necessary for immigrants to submit applications for two or three job offers that are suitable for their profile.
- The YCP – (Yukon Provincial Nominee Program) is required to enter Canada. Also, their nomination letter will be sent by the Yukon government. Immigrants can apply for a Yukon work permit through either the skilled worker program or the vital impact worker program depending on their skill level.
