Alberta Invites Candidates In Six New AAIP Draws

Alberta invites candidates in six AAIP draws, i.e., Alberta has continued its active provincial immigration efforts by issuing 1,037 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through six Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) selection rounds held between June 17 and June 29, 2026.

The invitations were issued to candidates working in several high-demand industries, including healthcare, aviation, technology, tourism, hospitality, and skilled trades. These occupations continue to play an important role in supporting Alberta’s labour market and economic growth.

Eligible candidates can assess their eligibility for Alberta’s enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) pathways before submitting an application.

As of June 30, 2026, Alberta had conducted 56 selection rounds under the AAIP this year, making it one of the country’s most active provincial immigration programs.

Latest AAIP Draw Results

The latest selection rounds covered several immigration streams and pathways under the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.

Invitations were issued through the following streams:

  • Alberta Opportunity Stream
  • Tourism and Hospitality Stream
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream
    • Accelerated Tech Pathway
    • Priority Sectors Pathway – aviation and skilled trade
  • Dedicated Health Care Pathway
    • Express Entry
    • Non-Express Entry

Most invitations were issued through the Alberta Opportunity Stream, which accounted for approximately 69.4% of all invitations issued during these six draws.

Cut-off scores and the number of invitations varied across each draw.

Most of the draws held between June 19 and June 29 focused on occupations that Alberta has identified as key priorities for 2026. These included healthcare professionals, aviation workers, skilled trades workers, and technology specialists.

The June 24 aviation draw was especially notable because it was Alberta’s first aviation-focused selection round of 2026.

By June 29, Alberta had issued 9,599 invitations through its provincial immigration draws this year.
