Manitoba holds a new skilled worker immigration draw, i.e., Manitoba has held another provincial immigration draw, issuing 77 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to skilled workers through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
The selection round took place on July 2, 2026, and focused on candidates who had received direct invitations from the province through strategic recruitment initiatives.
Eligible candidates can assess their eligibility for Manitoba’s enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) pathways before submitting an application.
This was the 13th MPNP draw held in 2026.
Latest Draw Results
The invitations were issued through both Skilled Worker pathways under the MPNP:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba; and
- Skilled Worker Overseas.
To be considered in this draw, candidates had to indicate in their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile that they had received an invitation through either a recruitment mission or the Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Candidates (TPP), which has now ended.
Most invitations were issued through the Employer Services initiative, followed by the Temporary Public Policy pathway.
The complete distribution of invitations is shown below.
| Strategic Recruitment Initiative | Invitations |
| Employer Services | 36 |
| Temporary Public Policy to Facilitate Work Permits for Prospective Provincial Nominee Program Candidates (TPP) | 31 |
| Francophone Community | 8 |
| Regional Communities | 2 |
Out of the 77 invitations, 15 were issued to candidates who had included a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code in their profiles.
The province also explained that some candidates who appeared to meet the selection requirements may not have received an invitation if one of the following situations applied:
- The candidate listed an approved English or French language test in the EOI profile, but the test identification number was missing, incorrect, or the results had expired; or
- The candidate claimed to have received an invitation through a strategic recruitment initiative but did not include a valid invitation number.
Note: On May 1, Manitoba announced that it would begin targeted Expression of Interest draws for individuals who received Support Letters under the Temporary Public Policy. The draws started with applicants approved between April 22 and June 30, 2025.
Since making that announcement, Manitoba has issued 579 invitations to applicants holding TPP Support Letters. Around 74.1% of those invitations were issued during the first draw held on May 7.
As of July 2, 2026, the province has issued 1,910 invitations through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program this year.
The federal government allocated 6,239 nomination spaces to Manitoba for 2026. According to the provincial government, 2,165 skilled workers had already received nominations by May 30.
The province likely approved some nominations in 2026 for applications that received invitations in 2025, creating the difference between invitations issued and nominations approved.
