Canada has held another Express Entry draw, inviting French-speaking candidates to apply for permanent residence.
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 5,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) through a French-language proficiency draw.
To receive an invitation in this selection round, candidates needed to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 391; and
- An Express Entry profile created before 11:32 p.m. Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on March 18, 2026.

The latest draw recorded the lowest CRS cut-off score for a French-language proficiency draw since March 2025. It also reflects Canada’s continued focus on welcoming more French-speaking immigrants outside Quebec.
With this selection round, IRCC has now held 45 Express Entry draws in 2026.
