On 18th May, Ontario issued invites for 138 international students to seek a provincial nomination.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) sent invites to the applicant who had registered under Expression of Interest (EOI).
The applicants have a chance to become qualified for the Ontario Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream.
Applicants needed an Expression of interest score of 77 to be considered. They required a job offer in Ontario too.
International Student Stream
Individuals from other nations with an eligible work offer from an employer in Ontario can apply for the Ontario International Student Stream under the Employer Job Offer category.
If you match the eligibility conditions, you are not required to apply from within the country.
Also, it is necessary to have finished a Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI) program. Further, they should have an approved job offer in Ontario and want to resettle in the province.
To apply for the Provincial Nominee Program (PNPs), you must first create an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile on the Ontario website.
Your profile will be added to the EOI pool once you have successfully finished the registration. As per the information you present, Ontario will assign you a score. The skillset of your job offer and past work practice, also your income, education, formal language ability, the place where you finished your studies or have work experience, and other characteristics all contribute to your point total.
How can you earn points for immigration to Ontario?
Ontario evaluates EOI accounts according to a set of human capital indicators that the province has determined are significant in identifying immigrants with the ability to succeed. Your job offer’s skill level, as well as your previous work experience, get you points. Ontario assigns points using the National Occupational Classification (NOC) arrangement.
Depending on which program/stream you appeal for, the scoring from ONIP methodology differs. It considers your earnings, study, formal language proficiency. The list also includes the place in which you completed your study or have work experience, in addition to your skill set and years of job practice. In addition, Ontario can allow 10 points to react to labour market demands.
