The results of the PNP draw held between April 11 and 15 have been released by the province of BC and Manitoba
The Canadian province of Manitoba released a total of 155 applications for inviting immigrants from Ukraine through PNP.
Except for the province of Nunavut and Quebec, all the Canadian provinces have the liberty to execute the draws for their Provincial Nominee Program. With this program as a medium of immigration, immigrants from all around the world are invited. The PNP doesn’t directly offer Canadian permanent residency instead offers provincial nomination through which the score of the applicant increases by 600 points.
The Express Entry profiles applying for PNP get an additional increase in their score by 600 points which further makes them acceptable for getting an invitation for PNP.
A total of 919 candidates were invited in the previous week through the PNP draw with a minimum requirement of 785 CRS points.
The Canadian provinces of British Columbia and Manitoba have been issuing provincial nominations through the PNP draw for the last fourteen days.
The details are provided below-
British Columbia
The province of British Columbia issued the invitations for immigrants on April 12 through its PNP draw. Through which over 155 immigrants obtained the provincial nomination.
124 immigrants have been called through the tech drawing. The eligible candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria of either Express Entry or the category of Skills Immigration. Both these draws are under the control of IRCC.
Immigrants obtaining the provincial nomination would be either from the category of International Students or Skilled Workers. The minimum requirement for immigrants of this category is 87 points.
The province of British Columbia has also invited immigrants from specialized professions like teachers, and professionals working in the healthcare industry. A total of 24 teachers for primary classes with the least score of 70 points have been invited. Whereas a total of 7 professionals working in the healthcare department have been invited by the province, with the same minimum score requirement of 70 points.
Also, doctors who specialized in animals’ health applied in the category of International Students and Skilled Workers with a minimum score requirement of 63 have been invited by the province.
The province of Manitoba
With the mission to assist the impacted people of Ukraine. The province of Manitoba is periodically releasing invitations for citizens of Ukraine through its PNP draw.
This is a measure taken by the province of Manitoba to support the people of Ukraine who have been harshly impacted by the actions of Russia. The province is aiming to call Ukrainians to come to Canada and settle in the country. The province has been conducting these draws since March.
The latest draw for Ukrainians was conducted on April 11, in which 20 immigrants were selected to grant Letters of Advice to Apply and the least score requirement was 60 points.
Candidates need to pass the eligibility criteria by scoring a least score of CLB 4 in every language test category. And they also need to show a legit language test. Further, the immigrants are also required to demonstrate a connection with the province of Manitoba in any way like educational background, any relative residing in the province, etc.
